It is equally unfair to both upstate, downstate, NYC and Long Island & suburbs residents to share a representative government; the vast differences in lifestyle and aspirations demonstrate that NYC, downstate, Long Island & suburbs and upstate should have their own autonomous governments so as to more effectively serve their constituents. We should support 2025-26 S3484 and A03778 a NYS constitutional amendment to divide the State into three autonomous regions.
