Divide NY seeking support for autonomous zones

​The Genesee County chapter of the Divide NY organization is trying to get bills on the state Assembly and Senate floors for votes that would split the state into three regions, a leader of the local chapter says.
Don Frank, Divide NY area leader for Western New York and co-leader for Genesee County along with Carl Hyde Jr., said after the local chapter met Monday night that Divide NY supports bringing Assembly Bill A4446 and Senate Bill S4541, which propose a constitutional amendment to split the state, out of committees.
