Dividing New York state into separate governments is a decades-old idea brought up regularly ... in the New York State Legislature.
The latest iteration, which has been around for several years, would not require secession but rather creates three regional governments under the umbrella of one state. Write an editorial or letter to the editor of your local paper, email your local news station, or call in to a talk radio station program; on why you believe separation is the only choice. Please mention 2023-24 S3093 is a NYS constitutional amendment to divide the State into three autonomous regions.
